Recent Cakes

Here are some recent cakes - as usual a huge variety.

Some for the boys - a couple of 18th birthdays.

Always a hit with young kids.

An 80th cake so someone who loves gold, bowls and plays whist.

Fabulous Festive Workshops

Just had another fabulous workshop this morning.  It was a Christmas Cake Decorating Workshop, where the ladies learnt how to marzipan and ice their own fruitcakes.  We then made some simple festive decorations to adorn their cakes.  It was a lovely relaxing morning and I think the ladies enjoyed it as much as me.  I didnt realise how much I would enjoy teaching people sugarcraft skills.
I must remember to take my camera next time so I can show some of their fabulous cakes.
