Here are a few of my recent wedding cakes.
Ivory & Caramel Lace Squares
This one has become one of my signature cakes based on "Lace Squares". It was a 3 tier square cake stacked in a step style with an embossed lace detail trailing down the steps. The bottom tier was a rich traditional fruitcake with 2 tiers of Madeira Sponge and feeds approximately 140. The cakes were iced ivory with handmade ivory and caramel roses with crystal and deep burgundy bead details in each of the sprays.
Its A Date
This wedding cake was wonderfully different. The bride and groom were getting married on the 09.10.11 @12 and wanted to incorporate this in the design.The 3 tier cake was Madeira, Lemon and Chocolate sponge iced white with lilac ribbons. The floral topper was supplied by the bride to coordinate with her bouquet.
Chesford
This cake was a 2 tier square Madeira sponge cake iced in ivory with double ivory ribbons/bow detail and diamante strips around each tier. Each tier had piped champagne bubbles plus a silver scroll topper.
Simple yet effective.
