Just finished this cake off ready for the Guess the Weight of the Cake competition at Priors Field School Christmas Fair in Kenilworth.
So if you want to win it make sure you are there, today, Friday 11th December 5-7.30pm.
No hints except that it is a fruitcake.....

Anemones & Diamantes
I love the simplicity of this cake. The sharp contrast between the white icing and the bright red anemones.
The cake was a 3 tier stacked cake consisting of a fruitcake, chocolate and lemon sponges. All were iced white with white vertical stripes and a lovely bit of bling with diamante strips around the base of each cake.
The handmade sugar anemones were a delight to make and have definitely become one of my favourites.
The bride wanted to do something special for the children attending the wedding, so each child received a personalised vanilla cupcake in a bag with matching ribbon.

Cakes for Boys and Girls!
Coventry City Football has definitely been a theme recently.
Also delivered a 3D football and scarf to a Coventry City player.
I created a footballer cake topper for a lady making her own cake.
And just so the girls don't feel to left out. Who could ask for more on your birthday than cake..... but cake with shoes and handbags on it.

Simple but effective
This cake was very simple but the overall effect was very impressive. It just shows that you don't always need lots of fancy detail.
My son was delighted with it!
